fantasy magazine needs you!

Mondays, new fiction goes up on the Fantasy Magazine site. Thursdays, we post an interview with that week’s author.
So? Well, we need one or two self-motivated people to do these author profiles for FM. Wanna take a crack at it?
What I would do:
I will email you (well) in advance with a copy of the story for publication.
What you would do:
Read the story carefully and write up interview questions. They should be substantial, no-fluff, interesting to you and hopefully to others. You would be welcome to pick out a theme in the work and focus on that, or just ask questions in general about several aspects of the story you found intriguing. You know, an interview. Examples here, and here. After composing the questions, you will send them to me and I’ll send it off to the author and handle it from there. You’ll get the byline. Also, you should be aware this would be an unpaid position.
If you’re interested in applying, please read Caroline Yoachim’s Tending the Mori Birds and send me a sample interview you’d write for Ms. Yoachim based on it, as well as a resume of your (relevant) job experience and a (brief) cover letter telling me why you’re interested in working for FM. I’m looking for flexible, self-motivated people who read quickly and write quickly.
Applications should be sent to mollytanzer@fantasy-magazine.com. I’ll be taking applications through midnight Mountain Time, Friday, December 11th, 2009.
